    If visibility, situational awareness and feeling like you have a direct feedback from the wheels to the steering wheel then I find the Vanguard a better drive than the Mitsubishi Outlander (2007 to 2014). When purchasing I was test driving both and just felt that the Outlander was bloated and I felt slightly disconnected to the road. The 6th and 7th seats feel like proper seats and have a surprisingly amount of leg room. There are lots of variations between the Vanguard models so it pays to spend time to work out the features important to you.
